Logitech Keyboard-Mouse combo

It may be pricy at $130, but the combo puts 2 of the best devices together: the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard and the Logitech MX 1100 Cordless laser mouse. Both products were praised by editors, the MX1100 mouse even managed to win an Editors' Choice award. One of the most significant hardware changes in the bundle is the mouse's rechargeable battery. Logitech really came through this time and includes a rechargeable battery with the system. Logitech says that it holds 2 months of power percharge.

HP iPaqs

On Tuesday, HP added two new iPaq smartphones to its portfolio. Unfortuneatly they are only available in Europe, for now. Partnering with Vodafone, the HP iPaq Data Messenger and the HP iPaq Voice Messenger will first be offered in the United Kingdom and then eventually make their way to the rest of Europe. (Will they ever reach the United States and join the HP iPaq 910c Business Messenger? Well, we asked our HP contact, who said she hasn't heard anything about a stateside release but would let us know as soon as she did.) The iPaq Data Messenger and the iPaq Voice Messenger have many text capabilities so they will learn a user's vocabulary and style when texting. (Both smartphones run Windows Mobile 6.1 and offer integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3-megapixel camera.)

Play Video Games by Thinking about it

You think that the graphics on your games are realistic and there sounds are lifelike, but then you look and see that the mouse and keyboard are preventing you from going totally virtual. (The creators of the Emotiv EPOC have been working for five years to correct that); though the headset may look like a mind control deice, well it is, but your mind is doing the controlling. Sixteen sensors actually read your brain's electrical signatures to let you play a video game by just thinking about it. (Brown, 2008)

Tech Stocks Benefit

The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 413 points, or 4.67%, Monday closing at 9,265.43. After a horrible last week trading showed a positive trend; it had a few dips during the day, but as closing bell was near the stocks momentum was upward. A lot of technology stocks rose well in all categories, including chips, the Internet, networking, software, cable, and satellite services manufacturers. The upward trend occurs because the companies are about to reveal there third-quarter earnings, many people believe no matter what the the U.S. technology companies will over come it.

(Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke and seemed to soothe investors with promises of increased government spending to stabilize the credit market and the economy, in general. He also voiced support for a second economic stimulus plan. Democrats and President George W. Bush have also expressed support for a second stimulus package.) (Jones, 2008)

The iPosture

We know that better posture improves our looks and protect our backs. Some of us may have vowed to keep our posture straight. We know we keep our vow at first but like everything it fades away. The iPosture is like a fat poker chip it may look like its only worth $1 but its really $100. Whenever you slouch, this nifty and simple device, vibrates reminding you to keep your posture straight. Although this may sound simple you have to be ready for physical exhaustion because your shoulders may get sore, but you should try it if you want a better posture.(Smith, 2008)
